With fashion creating 10% of global CO\u2082, most clothing containing plastic, & a dump truck of textile waste burned or buried every second, we chose to be part of the solution.<\/p>

Our products are made from organic materials, powered by renewable energy, & designed to be remanufactured at the end of their life. Advanced technology in our supply chain makes this possible.<\/p>

Instead of mass-producing clothing that goes unworn, we print in real time\u2014making only what\u2019s needed. This reduces waste & helps us invest in organic, renewable materials. Robotics also streamline our packing process, allowing us to use plant-based packaging despite it costing 10\u00d7 more.<\/p>

When we read that 10% of worldwide CO2 comes from clothing, that 60% of clothes are made from or with plastic & that a dump truck per second of textiles waste goes to landfill or incineration every second, we knew we wanted to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.<\/p>

Plastic-free and Plant Based Packaging<\/strong><\/h3>

By 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. B!ank & LOUD love's the ocean, so instead of plastic packaging, we use a rip & splash-proof mailer bag made out of paper. Big orders come in cardboard boxes, with paper-based tape. Carbon Neutral<\/strong><\/h2>

CWe rely on clean, renewable energy across our entire supply chain. Our manufacturing is powered by solar, & our factory in India operates two wind farms and a 150kW PV array. Renewable power is reliable, affordable, & central to our commitment.<\/p>

Smart machine-to-machine technology also helps us conserve energy by turning equipment on only when needed, aligning production with on-site generation.<\/p>

Water clean enough to drink<\/strong><\/h2>

Dye-house wastewater is a major industry pollutant, so our dyeing process uses a closed-loop system where water is recovered, cleaned, & reused. After settling & filtering through reverse osmosis and distillation, 95% of the water is recirculated. Salt is added back so dyes adhere properly, & the remaining dried waste is repurposed for road markings.
